Time back, so you can focus on your students.
We know that the biggest challenge facing primary school educators is time. Time to plan, time to teach at their best, time to assess, report, develop professionally AND look after themselves.
Where Mappen provides exemplar curriculum and content, our platform Tudio provides all the tools and documentation required to plan, deliver and report on best practice pedagogy that prepares students for the real world.
Choose how to view and deliver your unit
By default, Unit Document Mode shows you everything you need to deliver a unit - summary information, overviews, preparation, task steps, resource links and downloads, progress tracking, and outcomes, etc.
But all task steps are written in streamlined, student-facing language, ready for you to cast/present to your classroom, if that works for you.
Presentation Mode allows you to present all task steps, including learning intentions and success criteria, and embedded resources like videos, worksheets or slideshows.
Track your progress, and pick up where you left off.
Our handy tracking tool allows you to see what you’ve taught and where you’re up to, at a glance.
Mark tasks as in progress, complete, or skipped, then clear tracking when finished to begin the unit next time with a new class.
Curriculum Audit Tool
All Mappen units include links to the mandated VIC, NESA and AUS curricula - at unit level and individual task level.
Our new Audit tool allows you to download curriculum map documents for a particular subset of units (e.g. for a year group, unit type or unit concept) and show which outcomes are addressed by each.
Jump over to our curriculum maps page to download our ready-made maps for every level.
840+ Texts (including films and songs) to support your literacy program
Most of our units have one or more Texts embedded in their tasks, but our team have gone above and beyond to build a library of over 840 novels, non-fiction books, picture story books, films and songs for your librarian to consider stocking to extend learning opportunities on a theme or concept, or tie in with your literacy program.
We’ve got 160 theme tags to browse by, too (think First Nations Australians, biological science, online safety, habitats, and many more).
