Getting Started with MAPPEN in 2021

We hope you’ve had a well-deserved break and that things are getting back to some kind of normalcy for you this year.

Online Learning

Over the summer, we have continued to translate our integrated learning sequences to ‘Online Learning’ for students to use at home or in the classroom. We have nearly completed the full suite of sequences.

To get started with Online Learning, log in using your MAPPEN password and visit the Getting Started page.

Archiving Students

At the beginning of the school year, you will need to update your class list. Each teacher can archive students from their class.

For All Users
Clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner of the screen > STUDENTS > ARCHIVE ALL.

Archiving Completed Tasks

If you have been using MAPPEN for a few years, you may be about to repeat a learning sequence and will need to remove the completed status on any upcoming activities. To start afresh, contact your school MAPPEN Coordinator. They have the ability to archive the completed status on activities for every user on the account.

For Coordinators
Click on Coordinator > ARCHIVE COMPLETED TASKS.

Updating Email Addresses

We have just added the ability for MAPPEN Coordinators to update the email addresses for the users on their account. This is especially helpful for Victorian Department teachers who want to move from ‘edumail’ to ‘education’ email addresses.

For Coordinators
Click on Coordinator > MANAGE USERS. You can also add and archive users on your account.
