New South Wales Syllabus
Our learning sequences are designed to ensure that content from the following areas is addressed at each level:
Science and Technology *
Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) ^
Human Society and its Environment (HSIE) including Geography and History
Where appropriate, we have made links to content descriptions in English, Mathematics. These links are provided to make it easier for teachers to develop their own curriculum in these areas.
* The learning sequences do not address all of the Digital Technology as how this content is addressed depends on the available resources in the school (e.g. iPads, robots, coding resources etc).
^ The Health, Wellbeing and Relationships and the Healthy, Safe and Active Lifestyles content is addressed across the two years. The Movement Skill and Performance component is not included in MAPPEN.
